Leadership FAQs

• Who is the Rookie Award suitable for?

  Anyone who enjoys sports or activity and wants to develop their skills in positive, enjoyable environment.

• What do I need to bring?

  Apart from your enthusiasm, not much. Just suitable clothing for sport, lunch and snacks for morning and afternoon.

• Are the coaches qualified and police checked?

  Our Managers are qualified teachers or equivalent, possessing various sports coaching qualifications. Our play leaders working specifically with 4-6 year olds are qualified in child care. All members of staff are police checked by the Criminal Records Bureau.

• What happens in bad weather?

  With particular sports and activities we will try and stay outside as much as possible but if the weather is poor our venues also have great indoor facilities enabling the programme to continue.

• How many places are available on the course?

  We try and accommodate for as many Rookies as possible however venue space may limit us, so try and book as early as possible!
